50 Word "Mini-Sagas"
(Finally!) Reading Daniel Pink's "Whole New Mind."
Genius.
Big Ideas coming soon but wanted to capture the exercises I just did at the end of his chapter on the importance of "story" in the emerging conceptual age.

On Sabbitacal
I read 200 books, optimize my life, meditate daily, while creating 100 Notes, a life worth living, a business worth building and abundant love. All on the beaches of a far away land away from the noise of fast internet connections, blackberries ringing, and habits so deeply ingrained. Pinch me.

SEXY!!!!! :)
Reading this blog, thinking about being in Thailand by the time tomorrow's new moon is full, …my wife entered the room to say goodnight. Today is her birthday. I feel as compelled to reach out to each of you here as I do to go join her. These go together.
Didn't use 50 words. I used 50 definitions.

Congrats Brian!
She sheds her shoes to brush God with the weakness of her feet. She crouches like a grithman, hugging holy stones by the swelled belly of the moon, breathing like the scrape of leaves. Below, the ocean sleeps with a secret hunger for pale fish who have found their peace.

Lisa Lisa: LOVE it!! I'm running out of the internet cafe or I'd get a 50-worder reply for ya. Can we read books and each other, tho? :) There's nothing sexier than reading next to your love for hours a day and interspersing that with lessons learned and other such pleasures. :)
I'm off!
Searching for a brand new mind and finding a book about it in this post from my friend Brian. Starting to read Klein's book “Open to the Unknown”. Six hours of reading today would be heaven!
Cheers!

The coppery smell of blood hung in the air within the narrow, blighted birth-chamber. “Not salvageable,” was my father's judgment carelessly declared over the dying body of his newlywed wife–some thirty years his junior–on the occasion of my emergence into this world of pain.
On relating
Can relating begin? Can it end? According to particle physics, any two particles that have been connected at one time, even if separated to the ends of the universe, can send information faster than the speed of light. Does this mean love is faster than light? I think it might…
